Opening Hours and Contact Overview
Reliable times are crucial for craft and DIY projects. The toom Baumarkt Coburg opens uniformly from Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00. This leaves plenty of room to gather materials before or after work or to do larger shopping on Saturday. Around the holidays, toom publishes special opening hours for the market. For the Christmas weekend in 2025, for example, the store was open on 24.12.2025 from 08:00 to 13:00, and closed on 25.12.2025 and 26.12.2025. Such information is communicated on the official market page, so a quick look before heading out is worthwhile. Those who prefer to plan on-site can download the market plan offered there as a PDF and mark it up – helpful if multiple trades are to be purchased in one go. The 'Important Information' section on the market page also provides orientation; in Coburg, it refers to the topic of tiles, suggesting that this product area is particularly prominent in the store. Additionally, routes can be calculated, current promotions checked, and the market can be saved as 'My Market' so that offers, services, and availability are tailored to the Coburg store. Current Offers and Brochures for toom Coburg
If you want to save on expansions, renovations, or seasonal projects, check the current offers and brochures. toom regularly publishes weekly offers and promotions tailored to the respective store. Brochure platforms additionally list validity periods and highlight particularly sought-after products – from lighting in the basement to LED damp-proof lights, from seasonal themes like Christmas trees to classic DIY items. It is important to pay attention to the durations: Offers generally apply only for a clearly specified period and sometimes in limited quantities. For Coburg, such information is available online; the presentation is market-related, so customers can be sure that the price actually applies in the store at Fabrikweg 7. A practical tip: If you want to shop specifically, combine the digital brochure with the market plan PDF. This way, walking paths can be planned and product groups – for example, wallpapers and decorative profiles, lighting and light bulbs, or doors and canopies – can be approached in a sensible order. Additionally, it is worth checking the 'News from Your Market' category, where toom announces seasonal promotions – such as competitions during the Christmas season or loyalty card promotions that provide discounts and bonus benefits for regular purchases. Since DIY projects often revolve around budget security, the combination of brochure, market plan, and a brief phone clarification of availability provides a reliable basis: check the price in the brochure, choose the Coburg market as the reference store, clarify the desired quantity, and – if bulky or heavy items are on the shopping list – reserve the rental van right away. Those looking for a replacement or supplementary item that Coburg currently does not have in stock benefit from toom's lived service promise: According to the market page, the team takes care of finding suitable solutions or procuring items when something is not available. This way, a brochure offer becomes a plannable purchase without project timelines getting out of hand.
Renting a Van On-Site: Conditions and Procedure
Large boards, doors, bundles of moldings, or several boxes of tiles – not everything fits in a station wagon. That's exactly why toom offers a cross-market van rental service that can also be used in Coburg. According to the toom service page, the van is rented independently of the purchase; that means it can be used for goods from the store as well as for moves or other transports. The pricing structure is transparent: Without a loyalty card, the prices are, among other things, €11.95 per hour, €99.00 per day (longer than 8 hours), €59.00 as a night rate (weekdays 6 PM to market opening) as well as €99.00 for the weekend package (Sat. 4 PM to Mon. 8 AM) or €139.00 for 'Weekend Plus' (Fri. 4 PM to Mon. 8 AM). Additionally, a fuel flat rate of €0.55 per kilometer applies. With the gray toom loyalty card, the hourly rate is reduced to €9.45 and the daily rate to €85.00. As a guideline for loading capacity, toom states for the smallest vehicle approximately 2.90 m × 1.70 m × 1.75 m (L × W × H). Since the vehicle pool, equipment, and dimensions may vary by market, a brief phone inquiry in Coburg is advisable, especially if particularly long or high goods are to be transported. The reservation can be made in the store – if available; in some regions, booking is done through an app solution with partners, toom names markets where the processing via app takes place. For Coburg, it is therefore advisable to coordinate the reservation directly with the store. It is practical to consider the transport in the shopping plan: check brochure prices, structure the shopping list according to dimensions, clarify the cutting size for wood in the store, and finalize the van just before the checkout. This way, the waiting time remains low, and the material is quickly at home or on the construction site. If unsure whether a single transport is sufficient, calculate based on the km flat rate and hourly rates – often a daily rate is more relaxed for extensive projects, as it also allows for the disposal of old components or the collection of additional parts within the time window.
Products, Tools, and Sanitary Supplies: The Assortment in the Coburg Market
The market page for Coburg describes the assortment with clear focuses: construction and technology, sanitation and installation, lighting and light bulbs, decor and home accessories, furniture and kitchens, wallpapers and decorative profiles, as well as doors and canopies. In practice, this means: Those modernizing a bathroom will find both fittings and installation materials as well as the appropriate lighting, wall coverings, and transition solutions. Those renovating ceilings and walls combine fillers and primers with wallpapers and decorative profiles – and grab the necessary tools in the same store. In the tools category, the range is crucial: from hand tools for precise work to power tools and measuring and testing devices. Additionally, toom offers services that make work easier, foremost wood cutting. Especially for dimensionally stable projects – such as niche shelves, cladding, substructures, or window reveals – a precise cut saves time and ensures clean edges. The Coburg store also highlights 'tiles' as important market information, suggesting that selection and presentation in this area are emphasized. If individual products are not in stock, toom refers to the service mindset: The team takes care of finding suitable solutions or procuring items. Those planning projects across multiple trades can virtually 'walk through' the departments – wallpapers, lighting, doors – with the market plan PDF in advance and organize the shopping list so that paths remain short and compatibilities (e.g., installation depths for lighting, door frame dimensions, profile transitions) can be clarified directly in the aisle. Important for keyword enthusiasts around 'sanitary supplies' and 'tools': The mentioned groups are anchored as core assortments on the market page, which increases planning security. And since every project is different, it is worthwhile to have a brief consultation on-site for specific requirements – such as tile formats, edge profiles, or lighting series: The team shares experience and provides processing tips, as explicitly promised on the market page.

Since regulations – such as parking duration or designated areas – can vary locally, it is advisable to briefly coordinate with the information desk in the entrance area for special requirements (e.g., longer loading and unloading when using the van). Those transporting bulky goods should plan their arrival so that the pickup is timed immediately after the rental transport. Thanks to the location in the industrial area, navigation is straightforward; those using a digital map app can find the market at the address 'Fabrikweg 7, 96450 Coburg'. For all those who realize projects in stages, the uniform opening hours (Mon–Sat 8 AM–8 PM) are practical: They allow for quick supplementary purchases after work – or for concentrated shopping on Saturday morning.
Nearby Markets and Alternatives Around Coburg
If an item is currently unavailable or a specific assortment is requested, it is worth looking at the surrounding toom markets. The Coburg market page names the nearest branches: Sonneberg about 17.7 km away, Kronach about 26.2 km, and Bamberg about 38.0 km. These values help with route planning if you want to target an alternative with additional assortment. For example: The Sonneberg market lists a garden center in its 'Important Information' – information that is relevant for seasonal projects around plants and outdoor areas. There, the typical toom opening hours from Monday to Saturday 8 AM to 8 PM apply, with special opening hours on holidays communicated individually. Kronach and Bamberg are further options if certain product groups are currently presented more prominently there (the respective market pages list such information). Those searching in the keyword environment for 'toom Baumarkt near Coburg' or 'toom Baumarkt Neustadt bei Coburg' will find reliable points of contact, even if no toom branch is mentioned at their residence. For projects where time is pressing, it is advisable to combine a phone inquiry in Coburg (product, quantity, cutting), an overview of the brochure offers, and – if necessary – a brief call to Sonneberg or Kronach to check alternatives. The advantage of this strategy: The paths remain short, and thanks to the clear opening hours, trips can be arranged so that loading and unloading take place without haste. Those who frequently travel between several markets can switch 'My Market' in the toom online environment; this way, offers, notices, and promotions always appear relevant to the selected branch. Regardless of the chosen market, the service mindset is central, and advice is part of the shopping experience – as promised by toom on the market pages and as can be efficiently implemented in practice.

The hardware store is great with an awesome selection; I found everything I wanted. However, parking during busy times feels like an apocalypse since the parking space is only 2m wide (see attached photo). Our car is definitely not a space shuttle and usually fits in really tight parking garages. 4 stars despite the poor parking situation, as the selection and service were precise and reliable.

I shop here almost 4 to 5 times a month. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's also a restroom for disabled people.

There are no parking spaces available; you have to drive directly into the yard. Unloading was quick👏.
